Our Programs
At You Can Skate, Inc., we believe in removing the barriers that hold people back, whether it's access to training, participation in school activities, or simply the opportunity to move, grow, and connect. Our three core programs are designed to support adults, youth, and families in practical, life-changing ways.
You Can Skate
"IT Academy"
Train. Certify. Advance.
Through our You Can Skate Academy, we offer two distinct pathways designed to launch careers in tech through hands-on learning, mentorship, and real-world experience:
1. Youth Pathways Initiative (Ages 18–24)
This track equips young adults (18–24) with the tools they need to succeed in the Salesforce ecosystem. Each cohort includes:
-
Hands-on Salesforce Admin & Developer training
-
Portfolio-building project experience that mirrors day-to-day workflows
-
Official Salesforce certification preparation with exam tips and practice
-
Career-readiness coaching, résumé workshops, and mock interviews
-
Mentorship & networking opportunities with industry professionals
2. Women’s Workforce Program (Ages 18+)
Our Women’s Workforce Program supports women breaking into tech by combining expert instruction with personalized guidance:
-
Instructor-led Salesforce coursework delivered by a certified Salesforce trainer
-
Project-based learning on real-world scenarios to build job-ready skills
-
One-on-one career coaching and résumé development sessions
-
Peer mentorship circles and professional networking events
-
Certification exam prep and targeted job search assistance
Both programs follow our proven model of small cohorts, tailored support, and direct connections to employers so every participant completes the program with the confidence, skills, and network to jumpstart a career in tech.

You Can Skate
"Community Center"
Movement brings people together, and we believe everyone deserves the chance to move freely, confidently, and together.
The You Can Skate Community Center will offer free skate days, pop-up lessons, transformational wellness sessions, and community events that promote confidence, connection, and joy for all ages.
We’re currently working toward securing our facility, which will give us space to expand our programming with consistent skate hours, wellness workshops, and dedicated areas where youth, veterans, seniors, and families can roll, grow, and recharge "together".
