1. What is You Can Skate, Inc.?

You Can Skate, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Christian nonprofit based in Katy, Texas. We’re dedicated to uplifting youth and families through skating, education, tech training, and community outreach. Our programs are all about building confidence, promoting healthy living, and encouraging growth. Spiritually, personally, and physically.

2. Who can participate in these programs?

Our programs are open to youth, families, and adults throughout the Houston metro area.

Our Outreach program is designed specifically for middle and High school students who are involved in, or want to participate in, extracurricular activities at their local school.

We prioritize support for families experiencing financial hardship or unique circumstances. While we strive to serve as many students as possible, our focus remains on making sure no child misses out on opportunities because of cost.

Our Academy program is open to everyone, but space is limited. If a class reaches capacity, anyone who signs up afterward will be placed on a waitlist and contacted as soon as a spot becomes available.

Once our facility is open, we’ll also offer free skating classes. Those who qualify for these programs will receive free admission to skate nights and have the opportunity to host birthday parties at no cost through our community support initiative.

Whether you’re a student is needing help to join school activities, a  or an young adult (18-24) or women (24+) ready to build job-ready tech skills, there’s a place for you here. If you’re not sure where you fit, just reach out, we’re here to help!
